About Bodies in Rebellion

Bodies in Rebellion was launched by Dr. Ken Stoller, a pediatrician based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

There is increasing scientific evidence linking environmental factors such as mercury and pesticide exposure to neuroimmune illnesses, most notably autism.

Today, almost 1 out of 3 American children suffer from at least one chronic illness, and 12 million have some form of developmental disorder. The U.S. has the 4th highest incidence of childhood cancer in the world. Since the 1970's, there has been a 50% increase in childhood acute lymphocytic leukemia and a 35% increase in brain cancer.

Help us raise awareness about this heartbreaking situation by signinig the following petition, which will be sent to Barack Obama when we've reached our goal of 10,000 signatures.

If you are raising a developmentally-disabled child, the caregiver for a cancer patient or simply a person who cares about the environment, you will want to be support our efforts.

About Dr. Stoller

After a decade working with children who have a variety of developmental disabilities (primarily autism), Dr. Stoller became frustrated about the cover-ups perpetrated by the very agencies and institutions that should have been supporting this lost generation of innocent children.

In 2004, along with other concerned physicians, he testified in front of the Subcommittee on Health of the Government Reform and Oversight Committee. In 2006, Dr. Stoller met with environmental scientists at CDC headquarters in Atlanta and learned about their profound concern for what mercury pollution was doing to humanity. He also discovered that these concerned scientists had no power to set policy or have their voices heard by those who dominate policy at the CDC.

Dr. Stoller is now attempting to reach the American public via this website. It is his hope that by increasing public awareness and bringing these issues to the doorstep of the president, we can create change and help future generations of developmentally-disabled children and their families.
